All of a sudden you
are having trouble with your e-mail client or can receive
e-mail but you can't seem to send or reply to it?
1. First - Step outside your
computer's e-mail setup for a
moment. Get on the internet and
always test and use your
MazeTech client remote web mail access
panel. If it works, then you
know the setting is either
within your computer or limited
by the internet connection your
are presently using. When in
doubt - always use your client
remote connection.
If your
remote e-mail panel does not
work after testing - contact us
for additional information.
2.
All of a sudden you can't send using your domain
based e-mail SMTP while connected using your office
or home ISP? Change your SMTP to
your ISP's SMTP and continue to use your ISP SMTP and
the MS Windows default port 25.
3. While on the
road using your computer and can't send from a
traveling internet connection - are you still using
your ISP SMTP? Try to change your ISP SMTP back to
using your domain based SMTP and
the MS Windows default port 25.
4. Still can't send e-mail? On the road and
traveling we find many internet providers are
starting to block port 25 - Change the PORT number on your client e-mail setup
and use your standard Phoenix-MazeTech default SMTP - mail.yourdomainname.
You can also visit with the Hotel or provider
management to determine the exact settings and
protocol they
recommend using while on their ISP or Wfi Wireless internet
connections.
